Annual report Changes in corporate structure and property reorganisation
The State of Finland, the owner of VR Group, separated Finrail Oy, a provider of rail traffic control, passenger information and planning services from VR Group. Finrail started as an independent company on 1 January 2015. The separation was implemented by transferring the shares to the State of Finland as dividends. Finrail has an annual turnover of about EUR 36 million and a personnel of 460. Most of the staff members work as traffic controllers. Profits on the sale of property totalled EUR 23.2 million in 2014.
